Real bored. Was out most of last night helping my dad + nurses help setup the hospital equipment at his parents house. I didn't mention it here, but my grandmother on my dad's side who I don't know as well but still you know, have met and done things with has brain cancer. She was diagnosed two weeks ago and they decided to forego any kind of radiation and everything just because she's old and don't want to put her through it. She needs 24 hour care and so my dad is moving back in with his parents to help out with everything. He calls me sometimes to just run an errand or help fix something around the house. Like last night, although I wanted to be there with the guild when they killed Loatheb, my dad called at like 7:30pm asking if I could come by and help him set that crap up since she was coming home. They gave her three months to live, so we figured it would be best not to put her through all that kemo shit and to just let her go out nice. It doesn't really affect me too much because I don't know my dad's side of the family since my parents hated each other and my mother never wanted my brother or I to meet them when we were little, but whatever.
Anyways. Now I sit up waiting for the next few hours to go up to my old Gamestop and collect on my FFXII reserve I've had forever. Been hearing good things about the game so I hope it'll be something I can sit down and play for a good while. From what I hear it will be since it's apparently got a shit load of stuff you can do side mission wise, and a good story.

Wow, I guess I should really update this thing since it's been months. Well, got fired from Gamestop like the previous entry stated, couldn't be happier. Collecting my unemployment and doing a morning paper route thing that gives me an extra $100-150 a week. More than enough to pay my bills and I am enrolling back into school. So things are looking up.
Pretty much been WoWing it up all the time as usual. BG is doing quite well, we cleared Heigan a few days ago and are attempting Thaddius now. LOLZ POLARITY SHIFT OWNS US ROFLZ! Should have him down within the next week or so, the first few attempts were just to work out the kinks of people fucking up and not running to the right sides when he polarity shifts.
My hunter is nicely geared I must say, just missing Dragonstalker hands and I'll FINALLY have 8/8 piece. Hoping the next BWL run will drop the goddamned things. Also, I've been listening to this radio show called "WoW Radio" it's a bunch of live streamed radio shows dedicated to talking about WoW... yes I know I'm a fucking geek. The main show called [EPIC] ran this afternoon and I got my shout out read over the air. My god I got to hear my name over the intrawebz, I feel special.

Why is it the best day ever? Because I got fired from Gamestop today!!! This way I can collect unemployment and can look for a GOOD job while taking a nice needed break. Veronica took me into the backroom today and said she was letting me go. She told me she was in a meeting for 5 hours trying to NOT have me get fired. She was told I've got 15 customer complaints against me, and the new DM didn't like that one bit. Sorry, but I just don't give a shit if your kid can't have a game or (insert game here) didn't come out today. Fuck you, and I NEVER EVER EVER have to go back!
I did get to take out some aggression just as I was leaving. I walked out of the backroom to clock out, and a customer who looked to be about 30, wanted to know why Valkyrie(sp?) Profile 2 for PSP wasn't in today. I told him it would be in tomorrow and he could pick it up then. He got pissed and asked me WHY IT WASN'T IN TODAY!?!? So which I replied:
"It's not in today because God hates you and wants you to die. So you should go home and slit your wrists if you're going to make this big of a fuss over a game. Go outside or some shit and stop acting like a 3 year old. You fucking jackass."
He FLIPPED OUT and SCREAMED for a manager, I clocked out and was about to walk out of the door, and the customer said to Veronica, "This fucking asshole over here just offended in a manner I can't describe!! I want your District Manager's phone number RIGHT NOW!"
Veronica said to the customer, "Well, he was just let go a few minutes ago, so there isn't anything I can do."
I looked at Veronica and said, "I guess you could say I have 16 complaints against me now, love ya babe." And walked out..
PERFECT fucking ending to my tenor at Gamestop. I am so fucking happy. |
